Life Teen is back for another big year. Following the success of 2009, we will be diving deeper into the meaning of “Vocations”. Many believe that a vocation is confined to Priesthood, or Religious Life. It’s much more than that, however, and we hope to break down these misconceptions and find out what it means to live in the light of Christ.

Memberships to Life Teen are $12 per term, or $2 per week. The cost of Life Teen is just to cover the cost of catering every week, as we share a light meal at the end of each Life Night.

Don’t fear, we haven’t forgotten! We plan to start in March 2010. Even though we wont formally meet until then, I strongly urge you to come to our Parish Mission any day that you can!

YCA has evolved over the many years, and this year will see a few new changes. We hope to extend it to other parishes in our Deanery. A great Catholic community has always been at the heart of YCA, which can be seen in the strong friendships and relationships that have been formed. By opening up YCA to other parishes we aim to extend our family even further. More details will follow in the coming weeks.

Cells

Every Thursday, 7:30pm @ Back of Parish House.

We encourage all young people to join us at Cells on Thursdays. It’s a great way to prepare for the week ahead and discuss how the Gospel fits into our daily lives.

Over the next few weeks, Ryan has suggested we have mini-debates at the end of Cells. This is to allow us to ask questions about our faith that will help us to understand.
